Growth

The purpose of this project was to provide a design for a proposed non-denominational chapel on Farmingdale State Campus. The college considers this a sacred space where people of all religions can come to pray and meditate. This can be accomplished through the creative use of light. Different techniques such as backlighting, reflector shields, and light canons can be used to control light inside of a building. When curved surfaces are added to a structure, unique lighting patterns can be made.
